outlook 2000 crashing

I'have reinstalled with no luck, after I access 1 or 2
contacts, the whole thing crashes. Have archived, done
detect and repair... don't know what else to do.

Help please.

It may not be Outlook which has the problem but your OS.

Try running SFC /scannow to restore system files and then redo Critical
updates.

Or perhaps you have an AV software that croaks Outlook when it finds too
many problems to deal with. What has changed recently in AV updates or Reg
cleaning operations?

I've run defrag + clean up. have been told that I should
