Outlook 2003 Crashes @Send/Receive (outex.dll)

Hi, i've got the problem that Outlook 2k3 crashes suddenly during
receiving and sending mails from an exchange server.
Outlook says that it encountered an error and wants me to send a
report to MS.

EventViewer shows the entry that the error occurred in outex.dll.
this *.dll is responsible for the "Out Of Office" Add-In.

i've got every ServicePack installed (1,2,3)
i need to keep the old *.pst and archive folder

What i've done:

- tried the repair function of office - useless

- tried reinstalling, seemed to work. installed the service packs ->
crashed again (same Log entry)

now the user is just working with the standard office installation. if
i get the chance to work on the machine again,
i'll try some of the following steps of
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;291614&x=16&y=10

if someone have had the same problem and solved it, it would be great
to here his/her solution.

kind regards, kriech

Hi,
sorry DL but that isn't the problem i mean. I don't start anything
because i aint have the time too.
Also i'm even not getting get a normal error message like:
-! "The command is not available. See the program documentation about
how to use this extension." !-
My outlook just crashes and gives me the possibility to send an error
report.

bye

Hello again...
After all i think i'll reinstall the whole computer as i've got no time
for messing around with something like this -- if no one will give me a
hint in the next 2 weeks.

But thanks to DL
