Outlook 2000 Contacts

I have a user that when he tries to send an email using his contacts and he
goes to the M's Outlook closes down and does not give an error message. I
thought that maybe it was a corrupt file but I don't know how to tell which
one is corrupt. This happens using his Desktop Outlook as well as when he is
in Citrix. Does anyone know what would be causing this?
