Hi,

I wonder if you can please help me. Can you please kindly advise on
any known compatibility issues and the steps required when moving from
Outlook 2000 (PST files - Internet Mail mode) to Outlook 2010?

Many thanks in advance, for all your help.

With kind regards,

Neeraj Sharma.

I'm not sure what you are looking for - you can only have one version of
Outlook installed at a time.

Outlook 2010 uses Unicode pst format, Outlook 2000 uses ANSI. While
Outlook 2010 will open the old pst format, you'll need to move the mail
to the new format.
See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ansi-to-unicode.asp for more
information.

You will not be able to use the new pst format with Outlook 2000 - so if
you plan to share a pst between two computers, upgrade all to 2010.

We also recommend making a new profile when you move more than 1 version
- Outlook 2010 adds a lot of properties to the profile. Also, there is
no longer separate modes, so its likely your old profile will try to
convert to an Exchange account anyway.

If you need help moving outlook to a new computer and creating a new
profile, see http://www.slipstick.com/config/move_outlook.asp
