Outlook 2000 attachments - Not!

John

After using Outlook 2000 for a few years I now can no
longer either open or create an email attachement. I
cannot open either a doc, jpeg, or pdf file. Some
attachements I can open in the preview window by clicking
on the "paperclip" in the upper right-hand corner, then
clicking on the attachment name. But when I double on
the main email document I get the message:

"Can't open this item. Out of memory or system
resources. Close some windows or programs and try again."

If I try and create an attachment I get the same message
when I click on the "Insert" button.

Thanks for any suggestions
John

Try emptying your Temporary Internet Files folder.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

Brian,
Thanks for your suggestion, but that didn't seem to
correct my attachement problem.

I would probably ask you to try creating a new profile which would
eventually create a new pst and see if this resolves the issue. BTW,
wats the size of the PST you use ?
