Outlook 07 won't receive mail

I am trying to use outlook 07 for my earthlink mail. I've gone through all
the preferences and even when through the live chat w/ earthlink. turned off
all protection...firewall and virus...but when I hit send & receive in
outlook I get error message saying "The operation failed. An object can not
be found" anyone have ANY ideas? I appreciate any suggestions
 
Also, did you test the settings in the setup function?

well I went threw that process and it worked!! the test went through!!!!
thank you so much!!1 ok one more question - I already had my calender and
contacts set up in the old one now how do i get it to come over to the new
one? thank you so much not even the tech person at earthlink could get this
fixed

File-> Open-> Outlook Data File... browse to your previous pst-file.
You can the either set is as your default delivery location in the account
settings or move the items to the new pst-file. Contact and Calendar items
are eassier to be moved when you switch to a table view like By Category.
