Outlook '07 missing; done everything in these threads

Just installed Ofiice Proifessional 2007 and, as for others, OL 2007 is
missing and I cannot install it since it is "X"ed in theistall program. I
have removed, via Add/Remove Programs, the previous installation of OL 2003.
I had been running the 2007 Beta2 with technical refresh very successfully.

I've followed the advice in these threads and so far to no avail. After
uninstalling OL 2003, I rebooted as well but the installation repair function
still does noyt make OL 2007 available.

What if you launch the setup again (from the CD)? Do you get the option
then when you go into Custom Setup?

JUST solved the problem. After the original installation (from two
downloaded files, not a CD) when I reran the installation I had several
options such as repair, convert, remove, etc., but no "custom installation"
option as on the original installation. Each time I ran repair, all of the
Outlook files had a big red X through them. By reading and rereading other
posts here, I finally figured out that if I RIGHT clicked on the main Outlook
file and selected "run all from my computer" Outlook 2007 installed, with no
apparent problems so far. It never occured to me to question that scary big
red X! Thanks for your help!
