Got a stange issue here. On some clients which have Outlook 2003 they are
displaying a one day calendar event as 2 days. This is a public folder
calendar. yet other client readings the same calendar show it correctly as
one day. All OL 2000 clients show it correctly, it just some not all the OL
03 cleints. Public Folder calendar is on an Exhange server. Clients are XP
sp2. Any idea what is cauing this or how to correct?

Hi Brian,

please check 2 time settings on this client. In Outlook under:

"Tools/Options/calendar options/time zone"

are the flag for DST (Daylight Saving times) enabled or disabled?

Check also the time setting in your control panel under "Date and time" in
the time zone if you have here the same settings.

Compare this settings with the other clients. On this client the settings
seems to be different.

When you create an appointment in Outlook and set it as an all day event, the
appointment may show on the calendar as two days when you view the
appointment from another time zone.

The reason for this is, by clicking on the All Day Event option, the
appointment is scheduled for a full 24 hours. The appointment begins at
midnight of the first day of the appointment and ends at midnight of the
following day. When the calendar is viewed from another time zone, the time
is adjusted for that time zone, and the appointment overlaps two days. This
makes the appointment appear to span two days.
