Public Calendar error There are no items to show in this view

We are running Exchange 2007 on a server 2003 box I have one users out of 60
that has this issue. He is connected remotely through a Cisco Firewall VPN
connection (I also have others in that same location that it works fine for)
His account is setup to cache but correct me if I'm wrong you can't cache
public folders, anyway when he clicks on any calendar created under public
folders the info shows up for about 2 seconds then disappears and a message
pops up saying "There are no items to show in this view" his regular outlook
calendar works fine. If I connect to him remotely through Logmein I can click
on the public calendar and it works fine but if he click on it he gets the
error. I've did a detect and repair, deleted ost file and had it recreate it,
Tried logging in with another user on same computer and we get the same
thing. I'm at a loss at what to try next. Anyone seen this problem or have
any suggestions on what to try next?

Ok, I figured it out. If anyone else see this problem I solved it by adding
IP / server names to the users hosts file.
