Outllok 2002 - Exchange Server Updating

We have a couple of workstations running Outllook 2002 connecting to an
Exchange 2003 SP2 server. Periodically users report that they are getting a
popup on the workstation stating "Microsoft Exchange Server Updating". When
this happens the entire workstation will "freeze" for a minute or two and
then resume as if nothing has occured.

Any insight to this issues is appreciated.

Could this be an RDP issue? Could it be the receive side scaling on the
server? Are you using the scalable network pack on the Exchange server by any
chance?
