outbox

I have windows vista, I used to be able to send reply mail or even new mail,
now it goes to the outbox and when i close down the email it says i have
unsent emails and do i want to send them? I always click on yes and then i
check to see if they were sent and are in the sent box, but that is always
empty. i don't know if they are getting out and being mailed at all.

what is wrong with this thing? can anyone help?????

Open the Outbox folder. Move as many of the Outbox messages
as you can to he Drafts folder. If any won't move or can't be deleted,
apply this Microsoft fix:

Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.
