Outbox mail folder

I have a message in outbox folder that i can't delete , move or send. I
can't send any other messages either. Stuck.

Microsoft has a fix for that:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

That page offers two download options. Unless you know for sure
you have 64-bit Vista, use the 32-bit option.

I'm having EXACTLY the same problem. It started last night (12/10/07). I
have a mesage in my Outbox that Windows Mail will not let delete, and I
cannot send any messages.

I haven't had any problems using Windows Mail, until then. My email is from
Verizon (*@verizon.net), and everything is configured correctly. I hope
somebody has an answer.

Download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or
the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version first. Certain common antivirus
programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee, or a recent
one from Trend, tend to cause such problems, although seldom
immediately, so if you have such a program, remember where to find
the fix - you are likely to need it again.
