Hello, when I set up my out-of-office to forward a message to my external
e-mail, I do not get it at all externally. The user who sends the message
gets the notification that I am out of the Office.

I have set it up that anything sent to "distribution groups with me" + sent
directly to me & copied to me Forward to external (e-mail address removed). I have
also tried to use the <>, "". '' characters to surround my email address=no
success.

We are using Exchange 2003 SP1 and did not encounter this in the past.

What should I verify?

Thanks

Nicolas

By default, Exchange does not allow external forwarding. Your Exchange
admins can adjust that if they wish.

Hi Brian, I am also the Exchange admin. This is a new Exchange 2003 upgrade.
It worked with Exchange 5.5 with no extra tweaking except the fact that it is
pointing to our proxy server. what kind of connector & where would I need to
go to set this up?

Thanks,

Nicolas

I don't know, but the people at
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.exchange.admin will.
