Forwarding e-mail possible when computer asleep?

B

Beth

I will be out of the office and have set up a rule to forward my e-mail, but
I believe that my computer will automatically sleep and therefore Outlook
will not be running, so my e-mail will not be forwarded. How can I keep my
Outlook running and forwarding e-mail for the two weeks I am gone?
Thanks,
Beth

This type of service is best done at the email server. Contact your ISP to
see if they have a forwarding/vacation response/out of office feature you
can use. In addition to "automatic sleeping", if any dialog box should come
up in Outlook that requires a button push or click, the forwarding will
stop.
