Out of Office only working Intenally

Hi,
it appears that our Out of Office messages are only
getting received internally within our LAN and not
externally.
Would appreciate it if anyone had any ideas about this?

The default configuration of Exchange doesn't permit Out of Office
notifications or auto replies/forwards to leave the site. You Exchange
administrator would have to turn this on using Exchange Administrator
(Exchange 5.5) or Exchange System Manager (Exchange 2000/2003).

Just so you know, turning this feature on may introduce mail loops. Mail
loops are bad and can bring the server down.
