Our clients logon windows 2000 server too slowly

Hi All,

I don't know why our clients logon windows 2000 server too slowly.
My network architecture of my company.
One static IP to connect my Linix Server, the Linux Server is DHCP Server. I
also installed windows 2000 server that using DHCP services by Linux Server.
Our clients is windows 2000 professional that also using DHCP Services by
Linux. I try to login to my windows 2000 server too slowly which including
startup and setup profile.

Please comment.

Do they also log into a netware server, or do you run novell services of
some type? I am not sure why you are posting in this particular
forum.........

Hi Keith,

I don't know why my clients login server too slowly when loading personal
setting and apply setting ?
I think I can setup users to use local profile, not roaming profile. Please
comment

have you run the speed updates from ithowto? do you have the latest nwclient
& patch? latest drivers server & client side? speed/duplex?
