Oulook strips HTML...

SetUp:
Clients MS Outlook 2000 and 2002(XP)
Exchange server 2000

--------
Scenario:
HTML formatted mail is sent to Exchange mailbox.
When we access the mailbox via Outlook Express all is correct and HTML
formatted.
As soon as we connect from Full Outlook, the message is Plain Text Only.
Full Outlook obviously converts the message in the mailbox to Plaintext,
because from this moment the message appears Plaintext even in Outlook
Express. We have this behavior domain wide...

--------
Checked so far:
We "DO NOT HAVE" the registry key forcing the client to parse HTML to
Plaintext ...We tried to force Exchange server to send mail as HTML only

nothing worked....
Thanx for any Hint or Lead ... we are running out of time and ideas

Hm... The option to read mail in plain text only didn't appear in Outlook
until Outlook 2002. Moreover your statement about the problem happening in
Outlook Express as well indicates that Outlook is not the cause. If it were
Outlook causing the problem, Outlook Express would be unaffected. I don't
know what to suggest, other than to ask in the Exchange newsgroups.
