Other Programs Accessing Outlook

I am using the Chapura PocketMirror conduit.

Under "Add-in Manager" I have two listed: SavCorp810 and
Exchange Extension Property Pages. Under "COM Add-ins" I
have nothing. Should the Chapura add-in be in one of
these places? If so, how (I tried installing the HotSync
executable, but with no success).

Regards,
Kurt

HotSync Manager doesn't sync with Outlook on its own -- you must be
using another 3rd party conduit program such as Chapura PocketMirror.
Take a look at your installed add-ins in Outlook and see if you can
figure out which one you're using. To do this, go to Tools | Options |
Other, click Advanced, then click "Add-in Manager" and "COM Add-ins".

I'm using Palm Desktop version 4.1 with the HotSync
Manager version 4.10. I'm using this with a Palm Vx PDA.
I did have version 3.x but after your comment below I went
to Palm's website and found the upgrades, but
unfortunately, they did not resolve the problem.

Any more suggestions?

Kurt

What software are you using for synching? Most manufacturers have
updated their software to avoid this prompt.

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to disable the following
message from appearing whenever a program (Accounting
Software or PDA software) tries to access Outlook to send
an email on it's behalf:

"A program is trying to access e-mail you have stored in
Outlook. Do you want to allow this?

If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should
choose "No"."

This message appears everytime I sync my PDA with Outlook
or I send an invoice to a customer using Simply
Accounting". Very annoying.

Anyone have any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Regards,
Kurt
