other news groups

Hi,
New to this have used outlook express for years now using microsofts
office 2003, can anyone please tell me how to get the rest of the world news
groups instead of just this microsoft one ????
No matter what I try I can't seem to get anything else from the www
news groups that I know are out there ..

First post your question to the correct newsgroup. This one is for ms
access the database program. You should post question to
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general

Use a different "News Server". Open OE and look in Tools... Accounts (or some
such nomenclature). You most likely have msnews.microsoft.com as your news
server. You'll need to change that to some other news server which carries
your desired newsgroups. There are many news servers; blueyonder might provide
one (many internet service providers do), or you may have to pay to subscribe
to one, or google "news servers" to find a free one.
