[OT?] Two Internet Providers

Will XP allow two separate ISPs? I normally use cable but it goes down
occasionally. Have considered using a dial-up service as a backup if it is
possible / practical. If it can be done, how?

No problem just add them in the network setup.
How else do you think travellers would get network access when on the road?
