OT - Killfile - Plonk - Gone

I think it's mean and even a little sadistic to viciously criticize a
youngster who is trying his best. But that's just me. It may be acceptable
behavior in some cultures.

The folks that do viciously criticize are products of a dysfunctional
family who continue to act out the behavior they were raised with in
adult life.
 
If you had any kids, you would know they would NEVER lie about being
younger. A 45 YO man would NEVER claim to be 14 or 15. He would claim to be
21. I may be wrong, but I bet I'm close.

I happen to have children. That's an irrelevance to this, though.
Everyone and anyone is whatever they want to be on usenet. You have
no reliable evidence about what Fussy is. You're just going along
with him, rather naively, if I may say so. I don't know what Fussy
is, other than being a persistent nuisance - nor do I care in the
least - but to characterise him as a misunderstood kid abused by the
group seems to me to be missing most of the evidence.
I've known several 12-13 year old kids that started dabbling in scripts and
coding. Frankly, it makes me jealous as hell, but I do not beat up on them.
Even the best developers today have developed a stinker or 2. What if
everyone had piled on them and said they would "never produce a good
program"?

I think you want to put your high horse out to grass for a while.
You'll wear it out. That's cruelty to metaphorical animals but it may
be acceptable in your culture.

He is clearly trying his best .....to annoy people. Nobody would
be critical of him if he didn't put so much time/effort into that. He
could easily improve things but he won't. He loves the
attention/notoriety he gets from this/other newsgroups.

In the unlikely event that he ever tries for a programming job
anywhere all his nuisance posts will be quickly found and the
job, just as quickly, go to someone else.

He regularly lies about the capabilities of his programs. In my
part of the world liars are generally criticised. Even if they are
children.

I guess you are of the opinion that children should be encouraged
in everything. Even in lying. Perhaps if he lies more often and/or to
a greater degree you will be cheering him on ?

If you are such a fan of his then why aren't you doing an "objective"
review of his programs for him ?

He is also not 14/15 - he made the same claims 2 years ago.

His ISP is also losing patience, having indicated to me that he has
received 2 warnings before about spamming newsgroups.

People in this group and in other forums started off thinking this was
someone with enthusiasm and perhaps promise, and offered advice about
debugging and programming, but especially about his marketing and PR.

he has ignored all - so why should anyone tolerate his nonsense.

He was in my killfile, but has morphed - not much point putting him
back in again given the number of supporters he seems to attract every
time he reappears - every six months or so.

Perhaps he he has learnt some marketing skills after all - just not so
ethical ?

I've been ignoring most of AAFussy's posts, so I wouldn't know whether or
not he is a liar. However, I judge his credibility to be better than that of
an arrogant bully.

You should take my advice and ignore anyone that's obviously trying to get
attention. When you bully certain people, it makes them more determined.

Get this straight Fitzsimmons: I'm not a particular fan of AAFussy or his
software. However, I prefer him to someone who bullies youngsters. And quit
trying to be cute. You know I don't condone lying.

I do read most of the REPLIES to AAFussy, not many his original posts. I'm
perfectly well qualified to recognize obnoxious bullies that take sadistic
pleasure in verbally abusing youngsters. Perhaps they were verbally abused
as youngsters themselves, and the cycle continues.

This is dreadfully offensive and MUST STOP. Obnoxious bullies and
sadists have feelings too, you know. We are being oppressed by Bob
Adkins' unthinking and ignorant bigotry. If you substitute (sexual
proclivity of your choice) or (racial minority of your choice) for
"sadist" and "bully" you will begin to see how insensitive and hurtful
Bob's remarks are. It is well nigh incredible that in this supposedly
enlightened age we bullies and sadists cannot follow our chosen
lifestyle without discrimination.

We bullies and sadists perform a selfless public service in toughening
up the petted and cossetted youth of today. After all, what is a
sadist but the answer to every masochist's dream? We do not ask for
thanks, but a little tolerance and understanding would be appreciated.

If that were true, you could point out specific obnoxious bullies
and their specific sadistic, abusive posts rather than just go on

I agree

Fussy has been annoying people on lots of lists for years.

I have no sympathy, as he has a deliberate ploy - stay away for a
while, then come back with his ridiculous spamming, in the hope that a
few people for whom the babya experience is new, will spring to the
defence of a young kid.

He is no young kid, and knows how to play the game.

3iff/ullins or whoever is however no better, and has appeared in my
killfile for a long time - although, to his credit, he uses the same
name as opposed to fussy who I also have had in the killfile, but he
morphs.

He is a dangerous psychopath who deserves sympathy from no-one - and I
write as someone who gave him the benefit of the doubt as you once did
Bob.
