READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL.

That's a bit troubling. However, a company that thinks it makes sense to
turn off the computer by clicking the Start button is prone to making odd
choices.

It's probably amazing how much extra work that simple change caused MS.

Steve Ballmer's email address is steveb aaatttt microsoft.com.

Note that this is public info. See
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/exec/steve/2005/06-06TechEd.mspx
near the bottom. He asks for feedback. I've emailed him twice and
received replies either from him or a VP within 48 hours.

At least you saw more than I did. You found some useful information on that
Web page. I got an eyeful -- and didn't see anything else!

Hi, Tony.

Thanks for the E-mail address. I just sent a tactless note to Mr. Ballmer,
because I couldn't think of how to do it tactfully. I'll let you guys know
if I get a reply.

Hi, Jerry.
Now
everything will taste like MRE's.

MRE's. Mmmm. Tastes a lot better than the grasshoppers and worms they
teach you to eat in survival training.

<chuckle> This is a funny one, ain't it.

The original Apple method for ejecting a floppy disk was by dragging
the icon for it to the trash can. That always seemed *so* completely
wrong to me.
