Is there any way to run windows 98 "virtually" within
windows xp in the same way that you can run a windows os
on a mac? I don't want to get rid of xp or partition my
hardrive. I'm wondering if this is possible without
partitioning. I will revert to FAT32 from NTFS if
necessary.

Thank you.

I use VMWare 4 on an XP Pro host. Love it. I can run Linux, 2000, DOS,
2003, etc. Also look into Connectix products. There will be some feature
and price differences.
