Organizing photos

My Properties->Summary tab ceased to display photo
specific information (for image files) like resolution,
info from digital camera. I can still get detailed info
about other file types like mp3's and avi files. The
problem is quite confusing because I'm unable eg. to sort
files by shooting date (even though the option is
available). So it seems to me that a system component
responsible for this is not loaded. I don't know why. It's
happened to me before, but later disappeered. Now it still
occurs. Plese help.
 
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ....32 and SHI...
This should make the repair.
