Ordinal 939

I installed Win2000 on a donated computer that already had a version of Office (I don't have the office disks). I am now getting the error message "The ordinal 939 could not be located in the dynamic link library MSO9.dll"

I've read other postings on mso9.dll errors, but I have not any that mention Ordinal 939 not located

What I have already tried

1. Reinstalled Win200
2. Tried to remove Office to install a different version, but since I don't have the original disks, I was unable to uninstall.
3. Installed my version of Office and repeatedly ran Repai
4. Did the recommended Microsoft.com steps (rename mso9.dll to old etc.

ORDINAL939 means that the wrong version of oleaut32.dll is installed on your computer.
