I am trying to get tasks within each day to sit in the order that I want to
carry them out. I have tried numbering them in the subject & then selecting
subject as my secondary sort, but the order in which they appear within each
day still appears abit random ..... can anyone offer any suggestions as to
how to put in order.

I am currently using Outlook 2003 but moving to 2007 shortly ... is there
the ability to move by just drag & drop in Outlook 2007

thanks for your help
regards
Simon

Thanks for responding - my primary sort is on the due date ... if I then had
20 tasks to do on a day, I want them to appear in order. I cannot see
anywhere to allocate a time to do them ... am I missing something?

I tried setting the reminder function at different times but this does not
affect the order in which they appear

Any more help gratefully received
thanks
Simon

Other approach;
Set your view to
Group By; Due Date
and then use
Sort By; Subject

Hi Ben - I used the format "1). Task" "2). Task" but they would not appear in
order. I also tried "a)." "b)." and they do not appear in alphabetical order
either when I secondary sort by subject ... very strange

Thanks - I tried this - for most days where I have let's say more than 7 or 8
tasks I actually get 2 groups for the same day which is odd ... and they are
still out of sequence in terms of numeric or alphabetical order by subject
.... any other thoughts are welcome!!
thanks
Simon
