orange bullseye icon turns blue

I have noticed the last couple of days that the bullseye
icon in the right bottom corner turns blue. Does anyone
know what this means. I have security agent status
enabled and it runs a scan every night. I have peaked the
interest of my local IT guy at work and he hasn't
discovered anything on it either.

It is a bug.

It has no meaning.

It happens when you've used terminal services--fast user switching, remote
desktop, remote assistance.
