i hate clicking in a box to start typing and then having to move the
mouse to get the cursor out of the way.

thanks.

How would you expect to get the cursor back when you finish typing in the
text box? You're going to have a heck of a time using Windows without any
cursor at all....

Now, having said that, there _might_ be some way to keep cursors from
appearing only in text boxes, although I haven't heard of any such thing.

Perhaps you could best solve your problem by using the tab key to get to the
text box rather than clicking with a mouse to get there? Then you'd still
have your cursor so that you can click on everything other than text boxes
but it would be out of your way when you are typing in a text box.

Pez,
Goto Start, Control Panel. Now click on the Mouse icon. After that opens
click on the Pointer Options. Now check " Hide while typing". Now click apply
and ok.
