I put in a MAESTRO cd, and tried to repair my harddrive, because when I was
using my PC, it would randomly freeze up, require manual shutdown. I then
did a
WINDOWS RESCUE OPTION, it went half through and failed. So I then tried to
reboot my pc, and it says I have no operation system. The Windows XP Disk I
have is an upgrade disc. It asked for an old version of windows, and we dont
have anything on cd anymore. so...im kind of stuck on what to do.

Then you either have to find the CD for the older version or you go to the
store anf buy a full, retail version.
