openning a windows browser

Hi all,
I have 2 PC's . When I open a windows browser in one PC, I step on the
following selected icon : "C:\Documents and Settings\MyName".
When I open a windows browser in second PC, I step on the following selected
icon : "C:\Documents and Settings\MyName.MyPcName".
Can someone tell me where that difference comes from?

The second PC is on a domain/network.

Looking on both PC's "My Computer->Properties" I see that both belong to the
same workgroup and don't belong to any domain. Where else can I check?
