Opening slide shows automatically

I need to know how to force a .pps to open when the e-mail in which it is distributed is opened. Any thoughts?
 
If the end-user has powerpoint or the free powerpoint viewer, then a .pps file should start in 'slideshow' mode when the
email attachment is opened
