opening publisher 2003 files using publisher 2000

I'm running publisher 2000 on windows xp and can't open
files created using publisher 2003. Downloaded SR1a and
SP3 patches and still doesn't work. Anyone know the
solution to this problem?

Ask whoever said the Pub 2003 files to save it in 2000 format (from the Save
As File Type Option)
