PUBLISHER ERROR WHEN TRYING TO OPEN SAVED DOCUMENT

I have used Publisher for a long time and this is the first time this has
happened. I am running XP and 2003 Publisher. I create and save a document
on Publisher. I then save it to a diskette or CD to run on another system
that has Publisher. When I test it on my system to open from diskette or CD
-- it says "Publisher cannot open file."

This does not make sense as on a system that has Publisher. I would
appreciate anyone telling me what is happening?

Copy the file to a hard drive and remove any read only attribute.
