Opening PDF Documents in New Window

Hey - When linking to PDF documents from a web page, I usually set the
target frame to: "new window". This has always seemed to work fine, until
today. When I checked a web page and clicked on one of these links, the new
window opened as an empty page, and then the pdf reader opened in a third
window. I'm sure I would have seen this previously if it occurred, but I
can't figure out whether a setting has changed in my pc, or if something
else has happened. Any thoughts and feedback is appreciated. URL:

Blood Drive Schedule" and "February Blood Drive Schedule" at top of web
page. Thanks for your help.

I'm hoping you solved your problem already, because I went to your web site,
tried the URLs, and they worked just fine, opening the PDF in a new window.
In addition, I checked the HTML, and it was correct for doing this.

Kevin, thanks for the feedback, but I'm still ending up with 3 windows, with
the pdf reader outside the browser. I'm relieved to know that it's just my
problem. I checked the pdf reader preferences, and "Display PDF in browser"
is checked. Didn't make any difference when I unchecked and rechecked. I
can't find another setting that seems to apply, but at least I know I need
to work on my pc, rather than the website. Thanks again for your help.

But that will only fix the problem for you. It doesn't fix it for other
people unless they make the same changes

Yeah, thanks Kevin. Turned out to be a problem with my Adobe Reader. I found
out I got the same results when I tried to open a pdf file on my hard drive.
After your earlier feedback, I found an Adobe forum, and they pointed me to
a "detect and repair" function in the help menu. That took care of the
problem. I had been chasing an assumed html problem until I got your
feedback. Thanks again.
