Open ppt immediately

I am linking from my home page to a pdf document. The first pdf document
opens immediately. In the pdf document I then have a power point link I want
to also open immediately.

The first pdf opens immediately (fine), but the second ppt asks for
Open/Save. I want to ppt to immediately open.

Here is what I have in the pdf home page: <a href="29May06_CarsonNews
052906.pdf" target="blank">Carson</a><br><br>

Within this pdf I have inserted this link to a ppt:
1Dec06CarsonGermanChristmas.ppt. This ppt opens only after it asks Open or
Save. I want it to open immediately.

What am I missing here?

You're trying to open program B using a link contained in program A.
Make the link an absolute link to the ppt file on the server.
<a href="http://www.websitename.com/29May06_CarsonNews052906.pdf" target="blank">Carson</a><br><br>

Also note, your link is to a .pdf file, not a .ppt file.

Not a FP or html issue
- it is a Adobe AR setting (the link w/i a PDF asks for confirmation) you can't override
- check the Adobe Acrobat documentation
