opening outlook

out look usually takes a few minutes to open as it says the data file
personal folders was not closed properly. is there anything to correct this?

This usually happens because something is accessing outlook data and that
something prevents outlook from closing cleanly. The usual culprit is a PDA
but other apps can cause it also.
See the list of addins listed at
http://www.slipstick.com/problems/close.asp - it might give you a clue to
what is causing your problem.

What version of Outlook are you using? Are you using any sync software
for a PDA or other device? What method are you using to exit Outlook
when you're done using it?
