Opening New Windows

When I click on File, New, Window a new IE window will
opem but the existing window closes.

Also I use Yahoo bookmarks and wneh I click on a bookmark
that window opens but I lose the Back capability.

Neither of these things happen on my IE at work and the
only difference I can see is that at work I am running
under Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional at home.

Help please!!!
