Opening new windows

Alec

When I try to open a web page in a new window, the size
of the window is always small, and the window has
scrollbars to view the entire contents. When I open the
same page on different computers it opens maximized. How
can I adjust the size so that when the new window opens,
it is maximized? Someone told me Windows remembers the
size of your previous window when you shut-down, but I
tried shutting down several times with the window
maximized, and this didn't work.

Open one instance of Internet Explorer. Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize). Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the size next time.

Resize the window by grabbing the edges or corner with the mouse so the
double arrow appears. Resize to the largest you can, then close it by
hitting File | Close or exit. Don't use the maximize button or close
with the X.
