Maximizing Windows

When I use the One-Touch buttons on my hp laptop, some applications open in a
maximized or full-sized window, but some in a small window. how can I get
the small windows to open in a maximized size? No matter how many times I
maximize them and close and reopen them, they reopen as a small window!

Right click on the icon, select Properties, then in the Run pull down list
select: Maximized then click on the Apply button.

some open mazimized every time, some minimized every time.....frustrating!

Try using your mouse and dragging the window to full size, the click File
and Close. While the window will not be technically Maximized it should
retain the full size that you dragged it to.
