When I go to open "My Computer" from no matter where in Windows I attempt
it, it causes the window to open normally, but then it goes to the little
flashlight icon and searches, each and every time. It takes a good 5 to 10
seconds to find it.
My computer at one point got zapped by one of those stupid Ad programs. It
was very virulent and would not go away, and nothing seemed to detect it. I
did finally get some programs to remove what was causing it, but then my
computer didnt run quite right afterwards.
One other issue is that I no longer have my wireless icon in the lower right
corner. Also, when I open network connections, there are none, even though I
do have network connections and they work.
I would be happy if I could just get "My Computer" from taking so long to
locate itself!
