opening MDB file not readable

I have a friend's floppy disc with an address data base. I need to print
labels and cannot read the file when opened?

Copy the file to your hard drive before trying to add it as a data source to

I sent it to documents and to the desk top. No change. Thanks for

Don't try to open it. Just select it as the data source for your mail merge
main document.
