Opening mail / "properties"

I stated in previous post that I do this w/suspicious
mail. [Rt. click on mail in in-box / properties /message]
Read this in AJC paper last yr. No one else seems to be
able to do this, even w/same system & mail server. I sure
didn't do any special settings..PC dummie..so can anyone
tell us how to set it up on family & friends PC? TIA

Gal,

You may also "munge" (to change or hide your real e-mail address) to help
minimize spam and other more unwanted things. See my "signature"; it's a
complete and total munge. Some merely add or write characters into their
address so that a person would be able to actually e-mail them (some want
this possibility), whilst an automatic e-mail harvester-bot would not
readily be able to do this. You've posted with the web-interface for your
last two posts so these would be free of any possibility of being spammed.
But if you posted using it before and entered a real email address, then its
too late to save that. Same if you were to use a more flexible and better
newsreader such as Outlook Express or Agent, or Forte. You would be
susceptible to being spammed if you didn't obscure your actual address.
Otherwise use a "junk" mail program to keep it away from your personal and
valued e-mail address.

Yes, use same OE & same cable modem co.

I was hoping you'd say "No".
After selecting the message can they use File | Properties?
How about Ctrl-F3 while viewing the message either in the Preview Pane or
its own window?
