Opening Forwards

Forwards appear as attachments, and I wish they wouldn't. Any way to have
the entire forwarded text appear in the body of the message? As it is now,
I've got to click on the attachment over and over until it finally opens the
original message, which is obviously what I'm looking for.

A similarly annoying thing happens with attachments that are forwarded to
me--I've got to keep clicking on the attachment, wading down through the
layers, to get to the file that was forwarded.

What you are describing is normal for messages received from senders
using an AOL email account. The reason it happens is because AOL uses
a proprietary mail format and this is the result. There is no way for
you to control this behavior in received messages.

As to why any of your own forwarded messages also turn into
attachments is a mystery. Never heard of that.
