Opening files

When I recieve files that are in BMP format I am able to
open it but no print shows up in the Adobe reader. I have
windows XP. The same thing happens when I recieve
something that is in movie format with EML files. Is
there a reason for this or what do I do to see what is
being sent to me. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried opening the .bmp in some other application? MS Paint will open them,
try to view them with it.
EML are Outlook Express extensions. EML files with "funny" names in multiple folders
implies the Nimda worm. OE removes access to attachments using this file extension.
However, using forward on the tool bar in OE the attachment shows as an envelope that
if clicked opens the attachment (use caution if you do this, it could be a worm)
Check out your security in OE. Tools, options, security tab, maybe you have opening
attachments disabled.
