OPENING FILES IN WIN XP EXPLORER

HI,

The default view when opening these files is "icons." I prefer to see
"Details" and even when I have changed the view setting and reopen that file,
it comes up "Icons"

Is there a way i can set a default so that all files I open come up "details."

Select details in for example My documents, when you have selected the view
you wish click on tools/ View tab/ then in Folder views click Apply to All
Folders, this should open all folders in the view you have selected

When you change the view to Details, you need to go to Tools, Folder Options,
click on the View tab, and click on Apply to All Folders.

about "All folders."
