opening email attachments in adobe reader 7.0

I just loaded adobe photoshop elements 5.0 on my computer and now when I try
to open email attachments it said I needed to associate a file with them. I
tried and now they open in the photoshop elements program, but I would rather
that they just open directly by adobe reader. I can't seem to do that.

What do Photoshop Elements and Acrobat Reader have to do with one another?

Your easiest out is to uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader - download and install
the latest version from www.adobe.com (8.0) and let it reconfigure the
associations for you.

Hello,

Save the PDF file in the desktop. Right-click the file, from the list of
options, select Open With, Choose Program, and select Adobe Reader from the
list that pops out. Remember to check "Always use this program" and hit OK.
