Opening Attachments

I know this problem has been listed before,. Has anyone found a solution to
the problem of not being able top open attachments in Windows Mail? I have
completed all the suggestions through "Help" and have had no luck. I have
Macafee Anti. installed. It seems to me that if I uninstall Macafee I will
not be protected. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some have reported that uninstalling McAfee and / or Norton fixes the issue.
