Opening a saved movie maker file

Worked hours on a movie maker project. After saving and trying to re-open the
file I get the error message (in dutch) "niet geimplementeerd'' Freely
translated the message in English is " not implemented" and movie maker
refuses to open the file. I've noticed in several Dutch PC forums that I'm
not the only one encountering this problem but no solution seams to be
available. Movie Maker under Vista Home Premium version 6.0.6000.16386 .

Does anybody knows a solution to this strange problem?

It may also be best to ask the question in the vista newsgroup rather than
the xp one, as you may well find people who have had that problem and
resolved it there.

Lol; If I go to the Vista newsgroup the same thread is displayed, so
microsoft is combining the 2 (XP and Vista movie maker).

In reply to John's question,
It is a Mswmm file, tried to open it directly from explorer (dubble click
the file) and tried to open it from Movie Maker via the open project function.
Both ways give the same error message. It could be that it is a Dutch Vista
thing because I can find this problem only with more user of the dutch vista
user on the web and forums. (and nobody found an answer yet)

Techn. HW details;
Vista Classification 4,8
Intel Pentium D CPU 3.00Ghz
2047 MB RAM (tried to increase virtual memory)
HD raptor 150GB only 40% used
Tried the selfmade backup same result
MSWMM file is 3,87 MB (4.060.672 bytes)

After a lot of trying there seams to be a work arround;

I deleted all imported video's and re-imported them. The project file
suddenly opens normaly. I found 3 other threads in this discussion group who
experienced the same problem!! On the web even more!
Still it is to my believe a serious bug in this program!
thanks to all who tried to help.

I have the same problem.
I'm running the Vista Ultimate (spanish version)

But the solution don´t work for me.

I follow the same steps:
"It is a Mswmm file, tried to open it directly from explorer (dubble click
the file) and tried to open it from Movie Maker via the open project
function."

Greetings from Buenos Aires,
