Opening a Powerpoint file

When I open or double click on a powerpoint file, it gets opened in PPviewer,
like a slide show. How do I change it so the ppoint files open in regular
powerpoint office so I can edit them, instead of the viewer?

The file is in .pps (presentation show). Either changing the extension to
..ppt, or open PowerPoint first, then click File > Open. Choose the file you
want to edit.

You need to make sure that PowerPoint and not the PowerPoint viewer opens
the presentation by finding a presentation in Windows Explorer, right
clicking on it and make sure that PowerPoint is the program that opens this
type of file.
