Opening a key in Registry by command

Is there a way to open a key in registry by a command. I use run dialog and
I want to open a key from there rather than going to regedit expanding each
column. I searched for regedit parameters but there is no parameter for
opening a specific key. Anyone know how can I do it ?

Try this as an example:
regedit /E /A c:\test.reg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Select

Nice. I've got other utilities from SysInternals but missed that one.

Get them while you can. With Microsoft acquiring them there's no saying
how long these utilities are going to be freely available, if at all. I
guess with Mark going to work for Microsoft we won't see many new
utilities and inside secrets coming from him anymore. :-(

Thanks John, that is perfect.
Anyone tried explorexp from http://www.explorerxp.com/
If not, you should try this, it is fantastic.

| Try Regjump by Sysinternals:
|
| Put it in your system32 folder.
